Job Description

Our strategic European engineering team develops a variety of bespoke in-line and offline testing and measurement machines aimed at customer quality enhancement, swift market entry, and maximized value from their testing systems.

Your role contributions:

  • Tasked with designing, executing, and validating vision system concepts and structures, including necessary image processing and analysis
  • Designing vision testing applications and choosing vision parts based on specifications
  • Overseeing project scope, timeline, and budget in collaboration with the project manager
  • Assuming accountability in project teams
  • Employing clear, brief, and significant communications
  • Identifying, defining, and mitigating potential issues, dependencies, and risks related to projects
  • Carrying out national and international interventions
  • Supporting sales by offering concepts, computations, and feasibility studies
  • Backing ongoing improvement initiatives and activities
  • Documenting and sharing lessons from projects
  • Practicing personal growth and encouraging learning among colleagues. 

Qualifications

Degree: 

  • A Master's degree from a recognized engineering or science program

Experienced:

  • Substantial experience in machine vision, vision inspection for production and assembly, (optical) measuring systems, image processing
  • Ability to select suitable cameras, lights, and lenses for specific applications
  • Deep knowledge in vision software
  • You have the basics in creating image analysis algorithms
  • Knowledge of artificial intelligence or deep learning algorithms is a plus
  • Experience in Halcon, Cognex, LabVIEW, NI Vision, OpenCV, C/C# or Python is desirable
  • Experience in medical validation (GMP, GAMP, FDA regulations, etc.) is a plus
  • Must be legally able to work in Europe without any VISA constraints
