Job Description

The purpose of the Consulting Job Family is to identify, conduct, and develop projects, knowledge, and opportunities based on understanding of departmental, industrial, and business requirements. The Consulting Job Family encompasses a diverse range of business, technical, engineering, and scientific skills, as well as expertise in a variety of industries and functional areas.

Specific Characteristics of Consulting Job Level L05:

  • Is involved in the delivery, engineering/technical/functional design, and/or coordination of client solutions and projects.
  • Makes specific contributions to consulting sales and business development initiatives.
  • Typically reports to Associate (D2)/Principal (D1).

This role consists of supporting the Civil and Infrastructure teams in the capacity of a Civil Engineer- Infrastructure Utilities with a strong Engineering background.

  1. Will be responsible for leading the production of technical design information, including reports, drawings, and specifications for the related projects.
  2. Liaise with both private and public clients, local authorities, and external stakeholders.
  3. The successful candidate is expected to work independently with minimal supervision.
  4. Expected to conduct technical reviews and checks on design information and reports prepared by other engineers in the team.
  5. Assist with the production of proposals for new commissions, and undertake project management and financial control of small to medium-sized projects.
  6. Support the promotion of the Ramboll brand, and engage in business development.
  7. Implement and promote policies related to health and safety, quality, and staff development.
  8. Undertake Project Management and financial control of small to medium-sized projects.
  9. Conduct technical reviews and checks of design information and reports prepared by others.
  10. Contribute to the evolution of Ramboll’s Technical Support Groups by driving innovation, new technologies, and techniques.

Qualifications

  • Qualification – Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience – Minimum of 10-15 years.
  • Key Skills –
    • Expertise in designing all primary wet utilities, including potable water, irrigation, sewer, storm, fire networks, etc.
    • Proficiency in required design software. Knowledge of civil3D modeling requirements is a plus.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work under tight deadlines with a commitment to leading and coordinating with team members to complete tasks on time.
    • Capability to manage teams and deliverables independently.
    • Able to lead coordination among different disciplines for smooth project delivery.
