About Your Role

You will join a dynamic team dedicated to redefining network management via high-performance, real-time systems. This greenfield project offers an exciting opportunity to shape the development of cutting-edge machine learning and data mining solutions. Our core focus areas include anomaly detection, natural language processing, and expanding the capabilities of Extreme’s flagship products through transformative AI technologies.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the vision for our advanced networking products and platforms, driving innovation and strategic solutions.
• Guide the entire software development lifecycle from design and testing to deployment and operations.
• Transform complex data sets into actionable insights, developing scalable tools and processes for extensive data analysis.
• Create expansive knowledge graphs, interlinking diverse datasets and information across numerous domains.
• Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
• Champion operational excellence, constructing resilient and scalable systems, ensuring highest standards of engineering practices.

Basic Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in software development lifecycle, proficient in languages like Python or Java.
• At least 3 years leading large distributed system designs on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience with big data technologies and a proven ability to manage complex, ambiguous projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Computer Science or related fields.
• Strong background in statistical modeling, data analysis, and real-world large-scale datasets.
• Experience with graph databases and data-driven decision-making.
