Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Equivalent practical experience considered.
- 4 years of experience in sensor design, integration, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience with an advanced degree in a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Experience shipping large volume consumer electronic systems.
- Experience delivering two or more sensing modalities (e.g., electrical, optical, ultrasound, thermal, pressure).
- Understanding of sensor physics.
- Ability to work and communicate efficiently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Ability to build sensor models to predict performances and understand sensitivities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (Product Design, Industrial Design, Test Engineering) to meet system integration requirements.
- Review design options, identify selection criteria, and drive design compromises for successful system integration.
- Engage with sensor/module vendors to assess and drive mass production readiness.
- Collect and analyze build yield and sensor performance data, and present reports to cross-functional teams and management.
- Perform failure analysis, root cause understanding, validation, and drive corrective actions.
