Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a passionate and adept product attorney to enhance our Software & AIML Products Legal group. Join a dynamic team committed to underpinning Apple’s trailblazing Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning initiatives.

Key Qualifications

• 4+ years of legal experience in technology firms, top-tier law firms, or government agencies.
• Proficiency in advising on intellectual property, consumer protection, trust and safety, content moderation, and data privacy and security. Hands-on experience with AI and machine learning is highly desirable.
• Skilled in analyzing and strategizing global compliance for emerging regulations.
• Expertise in structuring, negotiating, and analyzing agreements across various technology transactions.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of discussing complex legal topics clearly and succinctly with all levels of business and engineering teams, and senior management.
• A creative problem-solver who is highly energetic, assertive, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong preference for candidates with in-house experience.

Role Description

As a vital member of the team, you will aid engineering, product marketing, and government affairs teams in diverse matters relating to AIML products and policies. This includes research and publication handling, feature development, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance. You will also stay abreast of the rapidly evolving legal landscape surrounding AI, addressing the complex issues it creates around intellectual property, privacy, and ethics.

This role encourages you to uphold Apple's esteemed ethical and corporate standards, defend our intellectual property, and provide indispensable legal support for our software products.

Education & Experience

A JD or equivalent with admission to at least one US state bar is required.

Compensation & Benefits

At Apple, the base pay range for this position is $189,200.00 to $284,400.00, reflecting the broad spectrum of skills, qualifications, and experiences brought by applicants. This can evolve as you grow and develop in your role.
