Role Overview

As part of our dedicated SW-architecture team, you'll collaborate with agile feature teams to develop sophisticated functions that showcase advanced autonomous driving features to BMW drivers. You'll also play a key role in our project team, framing and optimizing the software architecture for the next generation of our integration platform, enhancing both driver control and autonomous capabilities in future BMW vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop the SW-architecture for our high-performance POSIX Software Platform.
• Ensure platform behavior aligns with customer requirements, including resource management, lifecycle management, and degradation solutions.
• Work in an international, interdisciplinary environment, actively collaborating with industry-leading technology partners.

The Autonomous Driving Campus at BMW provides you with the necessary infrastructure to focus on developing innovative software solutions for the automobiles of the future.

What We Look For

• A University degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, or related field.
• Proven expertise in embedded SW development and the latest C++ standards.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Adaptive Autosar and POSIX-based operating systems, particularly Linux & QNX.
• Experience in POSIX scheduling schemes and agile methodologies like Kanban.
• Business-level proficiency in English and German.
