CTG is actively seeking a skilled Software Developer for an exciting position with our client located in San Jose, CA.

Job Details

Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 5 months

Primary Responsibilities

As a Software Developer, your main duties will include:

• Developing optimized code for custom hardware to implement neural network layers.
• Engaging at all levels of the software stack, including compiler, runtime, package, and test automation.

Required Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Expert-level knowledge of C++ and Python.
• Proficiency in shell scripts (bash).
• Experience with build systems (Makefile, CMake) and continuous integration tools (Docker, Jenkins).
• Experience with source control (Git) and collaboration tools (Confluence, JIRA).

Preferred Skills

Additional skills that are highly valued include:

• Over 4 years of experience as a software developer.
• Knowledge of parallel programming (CUDA, OpenMP).
• Experience with assembly / microcontroller / DSP programming.
• Familiarity with compilers (gcc, clang, LLVM) and neural network compilers (ONNX, TVM, TensorRT).
• Understanding of neural network operations like convolution, pooling, and recurrent networks.
• Skills in data visualization (OpenGL, Dash).
• Experience with Linux kernel/device drivers (Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Experience with parser generators (ANTLR).
• Knowledge of neural network training frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).

Communication Skills

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are essential, along with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse team.
