Position Overview

As a Senior Director of Engineering, you will lead the modernization of Oracle Health clinical applications and drive healthcare transformation through AI and cloud solutions. Collaborate closely with the Clinical Digital Assistant team to develop next-generation AI capabilities deployed through CDA, our evolving EHR, and the full clinical stack. This is a unique opportunity to join a transformative team poised to create significant impacts in the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities

• AI/ML Feature Development: Leverage your expertise in AI/ML to enhance the Clinical Digital Assistant and clinical application stack, offering valuable insights and support to healthcare professionals.
• Foundational Innovations: Drive new horizontal AI capabilities across our healthcare products, developing highly accurate and faster methods for integrating knowledge, data, and LLMs.
• Healthcare Transformation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative solutions transforming the healthcare landscape.
• Team Leadership: Build and lead a diligent engineering team dedicated to applying AI to healthcare, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Strategic Vision: Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for AI-first clinical applications, in line with company objectives and healthcare industry trends.

Qualifications

• Master's or equivalent experience or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
• Deep technical expertise in AI/ML and cloud technologies.
• Proven innovation and leadership in productizing AI research.
• Experience in healthcare technology or related fields is beneficial.
• Exceptional leadership and team-building skills with a passion for mentoring and developing talent.
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to convert technical vision into actionable plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
