About the Role

We are currently seeking a Software Engineer with expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and a strong background in developing Python-based applications. This role is crucial in supporting our ambitious Research & Consulting Delivery strategy.

Role Responsibilities

As part of our team, you'll:

  • Develop and implement methodologies to rapidly introduce new data analysis capabilities for both standalone products and service offerings, utilizing ML and NLP techniques.
  • Transform unstructured data into ready-to-model formats.
  • Utilize your deep knowledge to operationalize leading data technologies and practices.
  • Manage project timelines, maintain pristine code, and craft detailed documentation.
  • Collaborate within a globally distributed team in an Agile/Scrum environment.

What You’ll Need

Qualifications for this role include:

  • 2-4 years of experience with algorithms, statistics, data mining, machine learning, and deep learning.
  • Proven ability with ML technologies such as NLP, BERT, Transformers, and Deep Learning.
  • Advanced proficiency with the Python open-source stack including but not limited to Django, Flask, FastAPI, and libraries like Pandas and PyTorch.
  • Experience in building scalable data models and complex SQL database queries.

  • An Engineering degree at graduate or postgraduate level.
  • Strong communication skills, the capacity to work independently or in a team, and a proactive approach in a dynamic AGILE-SCRUM setting.
