Who we are — Our Mission
We are committed to a crucial mission: ensuring the safety and well-being of 1 billion people living in European democracies and allied nations.
The nature of war is changing quickly. It's no longer a phenomenon that solely happens in remote corners of the globe. Numerous helicopters or tanks are no longer an assured advantage against the enemy.
Our products are designed to function independently in harsh and remote environments with little to no supervision. They exploit state-of-the-art advancements in computer vision, autonomous function, and fast manufacturing.
From defending forests and vital infrastructure from wildfires and hybrid warfare, to patrolling Europe's extensive coastlines and terra firma borders, our technology acts as an armor for collective security.
About the role
Our Autonomy team is expanding and we are on the lookout for proficient engineers to join us. You will be addressing complicated issues in the design, implementation, and deployment of cutting-edge perception, control, and planning algorithms across the whole range of our autonomous robots.
About the work
The role entails implementing, debugging, conducting field tests, and deploying state-of-the-art robotics algorithms for detection, tracking, localisation, planning and controls in collaboration with specialised professionals in each field.
You will also be responsible for developing, maintaining, and expanding libraries for the core software modules of an autonomous system.
Your role will include identifying, analysing root-cause of field failures and swiftly deploying remedies.
Requirements
About you
You must have experience in at least one of the following areas:
Deploying Machine Learning models and/or maintaining the infrastructure that supports model development and deployment (including data management, large-scale evaluation, and training).
Handling, interpreting, manipulating, and visualising data.
Software development for large or complex or distributed systems.
Software development for sensors (for instance, navigation systems) or control systems that interact with the physical world.
Software development for game development, numerical computing, or physics simulators.
You should be proficient in Python and C or C++ or Rust.
