What You'll Do

As a Software Engineer specializing in Computer Vision at Meta, you will:

• Utilize AI and machine learning to develop advanced perception systems that elevate user experiences across Meta's platforms.
• Set ambitious goals related to AI design impact, system architecture, and ML best practices.
• Lead significant initiatives across different teams and mentor fellow AI Engineers, enhancing AI quality and performance across the board.
• Create unique architectures and methodologies, define use cases, and establish standards and benchmarks to assess various AI-driven approaches.
• Apply your deep understanding of the interplay between machine learning systems and adjacent technologies.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• Experience in one or more of these domains: Deep Learning, Computer Vision, AR/VR, Machine Learning, or Artificial Intelligence.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in developing computer vision algorithms or infrastructure using C/C++ or Python.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional expertise that will enhance your candidacy:

• Experience with distributed systems or on-device algorithm development.
• Proficiency in Deep Learning frameworks like PyTorch.
• Knowledge in developing language-guided vision systems.

Compensation and Benefits
