Join Our Reality Labs Team as a Software Engineer in Computer Vision

As a Software Engineer focusing on Computer Vision, you will be instrumental in building innovative solutions that pave the future of digital interaction and shape the concept of the metaverse.

What You Will Do:

You will apply cutting-edge AI and machine learning technologies to develop sophisticated visual systems that significantly enhance Meta’s user experiences. Your contributions will advance the state of AI across various projects, with the autonomy to set and pursue long-term objectives. Your role will also involve:

• Creating impactful AI algorithms and systems for large-scale applications
• Analyzing and figuring out why certain models work better and leveraging those insights for greater outcomes
• Defining clear use cases, methodologies, and benchmarks to evaluate different AI-driven approaches

Who You Are:

A visionary with a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and proven experience in developing computer vision algorithms using C/C++ or Python. Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferable:

• Deep Learning
• Augmented Reality (AR) / Virtual Reality (VR)
• 3D Vision
• Robotics

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with distributed systems or on-device algorithm development
• Familiarity with PyTorch and deep learning frameworks
• Contributions to AI publications

Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation for this role is competitive, ranging from $146,994 to $208,000/year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package, including bonuses, equity, and more details on benefits at Meta.
