Position Summary

As a Software Engineer specializing in Data Infrastructure, you'll be instrumental in building and managing infrastructure that handles large-scale datasets essential for training our AI models. This role involves crafting in-house systems and integrating technology from cloud providers to ensure robust and reliable data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-performance infrastructure to manage significant datasets for model training.
• Enhance the scalability and reliability of data acquisition systems.
• Optimize balance between system performance and cost to maximize company value.
• Work closely with engineers and research scientists to support both research initiatives and product development.

Qualifications:

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering.
• Proven expertise in managing multi-petabyte data infrastructures for machine learning applications.
• Proficiency in Spark and other technologies for constructing large-scale datasets.
• Strong ownership and self-direction, with a capacity to move quickly and embrace new challenges.
