About the Role: Software Engineer - (Databricks/ETL)

Gartner is seeking a Data Warehousing Engineer proficient in technical aspects, teamwork, and strategy development to enhance our Data Platform Strategy and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

• Collaborate in designing and implementing the Data Warehousing Solution.
• Manage end-to-end delivery of solutions, from requirement gatherings and implementation to testing and continuous improvement, employing Agile Scrum methodologies.

What You’ll Need

Experience: 2-4 years in software programming or data warehousing within an Agile Scrum environment.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong experience with Databricks and SQL.
• In-depth knowledge of Power BI.
• Expertise in multi-dimensional modeling, including snowflake and star schema designs.
• Proficient in ETL process design and SQL query optimization.

Nice-to-Have:

• Skills in ER modeling techniques and T-SQL.
• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
• Familiarity with project tracking software like Jira.

Who You Are

An ideal candidate would be holding a graduate or postgraduate degree in Engineering, equipped with effective time management skills, excellent communication skills, and a readiness to adopt new technologies swiftly.
