About the Role

We are looking for an Embedded Engineer to join our AI team. In this key role, you will be involved in developing and deploying embedded AI features from concept to launch. As a technical expert, you will architect, execute, and test complex embedded systems with AI and machine learning applications, whether on bare metal, RTOS, Android or Linux platforms.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams on system firmware, hardware, and software design and architecture, overseeing the project from planning to product launch. Your expertise in test-driven development, manufacturing processes, technical documentation, and delivery of high-volume, high-quality products will be crucial.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-performance firmware and software for advanced embedded platforms and cameras.
  • Debug, optimize, and validate firmware on complex multi-core embedded architectures.
  • Contribute to architectural discussions for next-generation business logic.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, develop, and test features across the stack.

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of experience as an Embedded Engineer.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience leading a project from concept through to product launch.
  • Experience with embedded programming on Linux and/or RTOS.
  • Strong proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems, including algorithm development, complex data structure manipulation, and optimization.
  • Consumer electronics experience or familiarity with technologies such as embedded processors, GPUs, WiFi/BT, cameras, IoT, and CAN (Controller Area Network).
  • Experience or familiarity with machine learning, AI, deep learning models a plus.
  • Experience or familiarity with Python, Kotlin, JNI, AOSP, and Android OS a plus.
  • Experience or familiarity with vehicle telematics, OBD-II, or vehicle diagnostics a plus.
