About the Role

Position: R&D Senior Member of Technical Staff-II, Product Development
Location: San Leandro, Lake Forest, or Chicago, USA – Hybrid (~60% office, ~40% remote)
Employment Type: Full-time regular (flexible working options available)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement innovative AI capabilities within AVEVA solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including architects, domain experts, and engineers, to infuse AI capabilities into their products.
• Develop products that may range from on-prem, SaaS, desktop, or web/mobile apps.
• Ensure performant and secure product/service by evaluating updates and their impact on the base architecture.

Ideal Experience

• Strong design, coding, and unit testing skills using C# and PYTHON.
• Hands-on development experience in AI & Machine Learning, along with a good understanding of basic statistical and mathematical concepts.
• Experience with interactive JavaScript/JS frameworks, SQL/NOSQL databases, and familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes in an Agile environment.
• Demonstrated development experience with client-server/distributed systems/cloud computing on a commercial scale.
