About Your New Role

As a Software Engineer II, you will engage with an agile team, dedicated to the enhancement, design, and delivery of vital software components. Your daily activities will include:

• Executing software solutions including design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
• Writing secure, high-quality code in languages such as JAVA, Python, or PySpark.
• Designing and developing systems while considering both upstream and downstream technical implications.
• Employing the tools within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to maximize value through automation.
• Addressing and solving basic to moderate technical issues effectively.
• Analyzing large, diverse data sets to aid decision-making and secure application development.

What We Require From You

To thrive in this role, you need:

• Formal training or certification in software engineering and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Practical hands-on experience in system design, testing, and operational stability, especially within ETL and Data Warehousing.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages and database querying languages, suited to a large corporate environment.
• A solid understanding of the full SDLC and agile methodologies like CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.

Preferred Skills

We also value:

• Familiarity with modern frontend technologies.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and tools like AWS, Databricks, Glue, NiFi, etc.
