The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Frameworks group at Microsoft is seeking talented and collaborative Software Engineers to help develop cutting-edge AI software used to train and deploy the world’s most advanced AI models.
Our team is responsible for building state-of-the-art AI compilers, designing new AI programming abstractions, and developing performance tools and SDKs for Microsoft's next-generation supercomputers and the Maia-100 AI accelerator. We have a highly collaborative culture and regularly partner with researchers, hardware architects, platform engineers, and other software groups across Microsoft. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements is essential for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check, which must be passed upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Software Engineering IC3 role offers a typical base pay range across the U.S. from USD $98,300 to $193,200 per year. Specific work locations, such as the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, have a base pay range from USD $127,200 to $208,800 per year.
