Job Responsibilities

As a pivotal member of our agile team, you will:

• Utilize your advanced knowledge and proficiency in the Ab Initio toolset to effectively manage data transformations and system performance enhancements.
• Design and implement robust software solutions while tackling complex technical challenges with innovative approaches.
• Develop secure and high-quality production-ready code, alongside maintaining critical system algorithms.
• Produce key architectural and design documentation for complex applications ensuring alignment with design standards.
• Identify and resolve hidden system issues using detailed data analysis, enhancing coding practices and architecture.
• Lead contributions to our software engineering communities, sharing insights on emerging technologies and practices.
• Enhance team dynamics by promoting a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

To be eligible for this role, you should have:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in software engineering with formal training or certifications.
• Strong proficiency in Ab Initio ETL tools and Kubernetes.
• Extensive hands-on experience in system design, application development, and operational stability.
• Expertise in multiple programming languages and database query languages within a large corporate setting.
• Demonstrable knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in Unix scripting, scheduler jobs, Oracle, and relational databases.
• Excellent skills in data analysis and profiling.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following skills will be advantageous:

• Experience with Business Intelligence tools like SAP Business Objects and Tableau.
• Hands-on experience with Pentaho as an ETL tool.
