About the Role

As a seasoned member, you will design and deliver trusted, market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Your responsibilities will include executing critical technology solutions across various technical areas to support the firm's business objectives.

Our team is heavily focused on data processing, utilizing several modern technology stacks. The target platform will leverage next-generation cloud technologies such as Hadoop, AWS, Databricks, Terraform, and Apache Ni-Fi.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with innovative approaches to solve technical problems.
  • Create secure and high-quality production code on cloud systems, following AWS best practices, and deploy efficiently using CI/CD pipelines.
  • Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring design constraints are met through software code development.
  • Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture.
  • Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events to explore new technologies, fostering a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with Spark, Databricks, and AWS cloud stack.
  • Experience with Apache NiFi, Lakehouse/Delta Lake, system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Proficient in coding with Python and Hadoop platform.
  • Experience with CI/CD and production deployment using Terraform/CloudFormation.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as DevOps, application resiliency, and security.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Familiarity with Data Mesh, Airflow, ThoughtSpot.
  • AWS certifications such as SAA/Associate Developer/Data Analytics Specialty or Databricks certifications.
