Job Responsibilities

As a member of our agile team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Executing software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with creativity to solve complex problems.
  • Creating secure, high-quality production code following AWS best practices, deploying efficiently using the CICD pipeline.
  • Producing architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring adherence to design constraints in software development.
  • Proactively identifying hidden problems and data patterns to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture.
  • Contributing to software engineering communities of practice, exploring new and emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 3+ years of applied experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Spark, Databricks, and AWS cloud stack with 8+ years of applied experience.
  • Proficiency in Apache NiFi, Lakehouse/Delta Lake along with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Strong experience in coding in Python and working with the Hadoop platform.
  • Experience in CICD and production deployment using Terraform/Cloud Formation.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies such as DevOps, Applicant Resiliency, and Security.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Additional skills that will make you stand out:

  • Familiarity with Data Mesh, Airflow, ThoughtSpot, AWS Glue.
  • Certifications such as AWS SAA/Associate Developer, Data Analytics Specialty, or Databricks.
