Job Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Executing software solutions, including design, development, and technical troubleshooting, with innovative approaches to solving problems.
• Creating secure and high-quality production code while maintaining associated algorithms.
• Producing architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring compliance with design constraints during code development.
• Gathering, analyzing, synthesizing, and visualizing large, diverse data sets to continuously improve software applications and systems.
• Proactively identifying hidden problems and patterns in data to drive coding and system architecture improvements.
• Contributing to software engineering communities of practice and events, exploring new and emerging technologies.
• Promoting a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and a minimum of 3 years of applied experience.
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficiency in coding languages such as Java or Python.
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages and database querying languages.
• A comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Solid knowledge of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
• Proven expertise in software applications and technical processes within technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, AI, machine learning, mobile).
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm, with the ability to run Kubernetes clusters in development environments.
• Hands-on AWS expertise, including API Gateway, AWS ECS, AWS EKS, AWS Fargate, AWS S3, and AWS EC2.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies such as React.
• Golang knowledge or experience is highly preferred.
• AWS lead engineering and solutions design experience.
