Key Responsibilities

As a seasoned Big Data Engineer, you will:

• Implement advanced software solutions and lead the design, development, and technical troubleshooting, moving beyond traditional approaches.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that are integral to our systems.
• Design complex application architectures and ensure development constraints are met.
• Analyze large, diverse data sets to improve software applications and systems continually.
• Identify underlying problems in data, enhancing coding practices and system architecture proactively.
• Contribute to and engage in software engineering communities to explore cutting-edge technologies.

Basic Qualifications and Skills

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with at least 3 years of experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Spark, Java, and AWS tools like GLUE, Lambda, EMR.
• Strong experience in system design, application development, and testing.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of coding in multiple languages and maintaining code in large corporate settings.

Preferred Qualifications
