Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, troubleshoot, and advise on different schemas, workflows, and strategies to meet various data use cases.
  • Create scalable solutions while understanding the financial domain.
  • Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring design constraints are met during software development.
  • Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets to continuously improve software applications and systems.
  • Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data to drive enhancements in coding hygiene and system architecture.
  • Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and explore new and emerging technologies.
  • Foster a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience in Databricks.
  • 5+ years of experience with big data tools and solutions like Hadoop, Spark, Tableau, Teradata.
  • Hands-on practical experience with big data tools.
  • Proficiency in Python coding.
  • Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using one or more modern programming and database querying languages.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as Scrum.
  • Knowledge of Application Resiliency and Security.
  • Demonstrated expertise in software applications and technical processes within a specific technical discipline (e.g., cloud, AI, machine learning, mobile).

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Fluency in English.
  • Exposure to cloud technologies.
