Job Responsibilities

  • Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with a creative problem-solving approach.
  • Develop secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms in synchrony with appropriate systems.
  • Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring your software code development meets design constraints.
  • Analyze and visualize data from large, diverse data sets to improve software applications and systems continuously.
  • Identify hidden problems and patterns in data to enhance coding hygiene and system architecture.
  • Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and explore new and emerging technologies.
  • Foster a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
  • Develop front-end experiences for marketing-related applications using React-based frameworks.
  • Create back-end APIs to support front-end experiences in Java or Python.
  • Work independently as a technologist.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 3+ years of applied experience.
  • Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Proficient in coding languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, React.js, or Angular.
  • Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
  • Knowledge of software applications and technical processes, especially in areas such as cloud, AI, ML, and mobile technologies.
  • Experience in developing web applications using React or similar technologies, with a focus on UI design standards, frameworks, and patterns.
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and assess technical design along with functional requirements.
  • Proficiency in back-end technologies, including design patterns and database technologies.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience in the Marketing or Sales domain.
  • Experience in reporting and analytics.
  • Experience with data management platforms or customer data platforms.
  • Familiarity with working in an Agile environment.
  • Knowledge of Marketing Cloud.
