Position: Software Engineer, Machine Learning - Monetization

Key Responsibilities

• Set direction and goals for a sizable team focused on project impact, ML system design, and ML excellence.
• Adapt traditional machine learning methods to optimize modern parallel environments, including distributed clusters, multicore SMP, and GPUs.
• Re-evaluate and drive improvements for existing features and ML systems to reduce technical debt from first principles.
• Lead a team to establish ML best practices and positively influence engineering culture.
• Address complex online performance and evaluation issues requiring deep knowledge of ML and its interaction with surrounding systems.
• Develop highly scalable classifiers and tools leveraging ML, data regression, and rules-based models.
• Collect, synthesize requirements, and create effective feature roadmaps.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to deliver high-quality code.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Statistical Practice, Operations Research, or a related field. Additionally, experience in one or more of the following areas is required:

• Machine learning, recommendation systems, pattern recognition, data mining, or artificial intelligence.
• Developing machine learning models at scale from inception to business impact.
• Proficiency in developing and debugging using C/C++ and Java.
• Experience with scripting languages like Python, Perl, PHP, or shell scripting.
• Exhibiting technical leadership in team environments, managing projects, and setting technical directions.
• Optimizing machine learning methods for modern parallel environments like distributed clusters, multicore SMP, and GPUs.
• Creating highly scalable classifiers and tools that leverage machine learning, data regression, and rules-based models.

Compensation and Benefits

Base Salary: $214,032/year to $240,240/year, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.

Individual pay is determined by various factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The listed compensation details reflect the base salary only, excluding bonus, equity, or sales incentives.
