Position Overview

We are looking for experienced Software Engineers to join our high-performing development organization. As part of our sustaining engineering team, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the products that drive the core of our business. You will work on high availability low latency real-time distributed systems and have the opportunity to use a diverse set of languages, frameworks, and AWS services to deliver Machine Learning powered big data solutions. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, data science, and other functional areas to ensure technical efforts align with business goals
• Improve and maintain real-time APIs
• Improve and maintain web interfaces
• Perform peer code reviews
• Maintain various big data data structures, pipelines, and transformations
• Optimize data operations to minimize processing time on large data sets
• Critically analyze and evaluate challenges with data and propose solutions

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience developing APIs (REST) with Python 3
• 1-3 years of experience with web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• 1-3 years of experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with unit testing and mocking
• Experience with CI/CD
• Experience with version control systems like GitHub or Gitlab
• Experience developing APIs with PHP
• Experience utilizing Agile (Scrum/Kanban) practices
• Experience developing applications using AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, and DynamoDB

Nice to Have

• Experience with web frameworks such as Elm, React, or Angular
• Experience with ETL pipelines and big data applications
• Experience with AWS big data services such as EMR, Athena, and Redshift
• Experience with testing and mocking libraries like PHPUnit and Mockery
• Experience developing AdTech or MarTech applications and solutions
