This role offers the chance to work across a spectrum of applications, including fraud detection, recommendation systems, and sentiment analysis.

What You Will Do

As a Machine Learning Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Guiding team objectives and the technical direction, enhancing efficiency within the broader organization.
• Communicating intricate system features and frameworks in great detail.
• Keeping pace with industry-wide and company-specific trends to assist in developing state-of-the-art technologies.
• Collaborating with organizational leaders to refine team performance and effectiveness.
• Generating new organizational opportunities and influencing staffing and prioritization to bring visions to life.
• Developing advanced scalable classifiers and tools utilizing machine learning, data regression, and rule-based models.
• Adapting conventional machine learning methods to leverage modern parallel environments such as distributed clusters, multicore SMP, and GPUs.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 12 years’ experience in programming languages like Python, C++, Java, or R.
• Over 8 years of experience in machine learning, recommendation systems, pattern recognition, NLP, data mining, or artificial intelligence.
• Proven ability to lead projects with significant industry-wide impact and effectively work across various functions to drive solutions.
• Experience in mentoring and influencing senior engineers across different organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to plan multi-year technology roadmaps where short-term achievements contribute to long-term goals.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience deploying products utilized by millions or starting new product lines.
• Familiarity with Hadoop, HBase, Pig, MapReduce, Sawzall, Bigtable, Hive, or Spark.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary range: $213,000 to $293,000, plus bonuses, equity, and comprehensive benefits. Specific compensation is reflective of skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
