Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer at Microsoft, you will be working on the next generation of our clinical documentation products powered by Artificial Intelligence. Contribute to the design, implementation, and operation of our backend serving solutions while developing a deep understanding of real-world AI use cases on a hyper-scale cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the design of AI technology, focusing on natural language processing.
• Implement microservices to expose AI technology.
• Develop and deploy infrastructure for hosting and operating AI models.
• Monitor and maintain AI model-serving infrastructure.
• Handle live service operations on a rotational, on-call basis.
• Automate production and deployment processes.
• Apply best practices to ensure reliable code quality.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field (OR equivalent experience).
• Multi-year technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, Python, and C#.
• Proven experience in building and operating cloud services.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field (OR equivalent experience).
• Extensive experience with machine learning models, particularly in natural language processing, generative AI, and speech-to-text.

Salary and Additional Information:

The salary for this role starts from 74,600 euros per annum, depending on experience. Microsoft requires candidates to pass a Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
