About the Role

As a Product Software Engineer on the Workspaces team, you will report to an Engineering Manager. Thousands of Machine Learning Engineers rely on Workspaces daily to monitor and understand their ML training runs. In this full-stack role, with a primary focus on backend development, you’ll work with technologies like BigTable and Parquet to feed timeseries data to the frontend.

Responsibilities

  • Lead new product initiatives to help our customers collaborate and share information.
  • Collaborate with other developers on complex technical and performance challenges.
  • Enhance team productivity by finding efficient solutions.
  • Focus on end users and incorporate customer feedback to improve our product.

Requirements

  • Full-stack engineer with a heavier backend focus and multiple years of experience.
  • Experience with time series data or tools like BigTable or Parquet is a plus.
  • 4+ years of software engineering experience and knowledge of at least one modern programming language (Java, Go, Python, C++).
  • 2+ years of experience with modern web technologies like React and Typescript.
  • 1+ year of experience building high-quality products end-to-end.
  • Ability to understand and solve complex problems.
  • Interest in the AI/ML space and a desire to learn continuously.
