About the Role

Apple is seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineering Program Manager with expertise in Computer Vision (CV), Machine Learning (ML), and algorithm development to join our Video Computer Vision team—the team behind Vision Pro and FaceID algorithms. As a candidate, you will own complex technical topics and spearhead our dedicated engineering team through the product development phases. We are looking for an experienced SW EPM with a strong software background and proven algorithm experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multi-functional efforts to develop cutting-edge technologies at Apple, focusing on Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Generative AI.
• Drive the creation and management of development schedules.
• Identify critical paths and maintain thorough execution plans.
• Ensure seamless coordination and communication across teams.
• Abstract key issues and risks for executive management understanding.
• Communicate overall program status effectively and consistently.

Minimum Qualifications

• Solid experience leading complex, multi-functional software projects.
• Strong knowledge of software development processes.
• Engineering background in fields like Computer Science, Software, Machine Learning, Systems Engineering, Embedded Software, Hardware Development, or Computer Vision.
• Ability to dive deep into technical details of Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and other algorithms.
• Capacity to handle rapid changes and remain flexible under uncertainty.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, organizational, and leadership skills.
• BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related field, with 10 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical program management experience in consumer-facing software programs.
• Background in Computer Vision, relevant software engineering, product development, or data science.
• Experience with hardware processes and Embedded Software Systems.

Compensation & Benefits

At Apple, base pay forms a part of the total compensation package that allows you to grow within the role. For this role, the base pay range is between $160,700 and $282,500, depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
