Software/Data Engineer

Amdocs is upgrading its internal Data Platform to a state-of-the-art cloud-based solution, aiding the move towards a data-centric organization and higher-level use cases. In IT, we are a group of global professionals with robust data analytics knowledge. We are looking for a data engineer to join our team and contribute to our journey towards a new data platform on the cloud. Requirements: - 2-3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in Implementations. - Proven experience in Snowflake implementation and/or creating cloud-based data platform architecture. - Strong knowledge of EL tool – Snaplogic. - Good understanding of REST API. - Experience in working with JSON file structure and transformation. - Proficient in creating and optimizing complex SQL queries and transforming data with join. - Experience with Agile methodology. - Personality: independent, able to manage themselves, able to multitask, keen to learn, works well in a team. - Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing. Responsibilities: - You will be part of the data development team of data engineers, focusing on the current data lake migration project. This involves migrating all data to the Snowflake DB using the Snaplogic EL platform. - You will be responsible for designing and developing migration data pipelines using the Snaplogic EL tool. - You will work with various peer IT teams, PS, tools vendors to complete your tasks. - You will report directly to the Data Platform Development Team Lead.
