Job Title: Solutions Architect, Senior Manager – Data and Analytics (Remote)

What You Will Do

The Solutions Architect - Data and Analytics plays a critical role in shaping our data strategy, platforms, and architecture. Responsibilities include:

  • Design and implement robust data platforms supporting Pratt & Whitney’s data strategy goals.
  • Lead data analytics efforts to optimize manufacturing processes, enhance product quality, and accelerate business growth.
  • Collaborate with business data developers and analysts for customer-centric data platform solutions.
  • Develop a data platform strategy focused on scalability, security, and performance.
  • Integrate enterprise data architecture with existing systems for advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI initiatives.
  • Enforce data governance and quality standards ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Evaluate and recommend new data technologies and tools.
  • Oversee data assets management, ensuring availability and reliability for users.
  • Provide leadership on best practices in data management, analytics, and architecture to various teams.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field with 10+ years in data architecture, engineering, or software engineering; OR an advanced degree with 7+ years of experience.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen due to access to restricted systems/tools.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Strong customer focus and product management skills.
  • In-depth understanding of the aviation industry.
  • Experience in designing and implementing enterprise data solutions, data modeling, warehousing, and ETL processes.
  • Proficiency in big data technologies, cloud platforms, and analytics tools.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional team projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for conveying complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on innovation and continuous improvement.

This role is primarily remote based. The salary range is $118,000 - $246,000, and we consider factors such as experience, location, education, and key skills when making an offer. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, employee assistance programs, and more, depending on the specific business unit and whether covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

This U.S.-based role is open for approximately 40 days from the posting date, subject to change based on candidate flow and business needs.
