Specialist in Data Science

We are seeking a skilled and independently capable Data Science Specialist to assist in further personalizing the digital aspect of our client's customer journeys. The successful candidate will engage in various areas within the data lifecycle, including analysis, infrastructure, and machine learning, as well as proactively suggesting new AI use cases to enhance the client’s personalization abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, maintain, and improve existing machine learning models and pipelines.
• Expand and enhance the infrastructure for model training and scoring.
• Perform data analysis, validate business hypotheses, and offer support to the BI/Analytics team.
• Collaborate with other teams to identify and examine new AI use cases.
• Assume responsibility for and direct the design and execution of AI POCs.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proficiency in the Czech language at the native or C2 level, and proficiency in the English language at least at the B2 level.
• About 3+ years of experience with data-related tasks, including at least a 1-year focus on machine learning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The capacity to work independently and a detail-oriented mindset.
• Familiar with the preprocessing and training pipelines of machine learning.
• Knowledge of Python, SQL, GIT. Familiarity with the following Python libraries is a must: pandas, scikit-learn, numpy and at least a basic understanding of Keras.
• A solid understanding of feed forward deep neural networks, supervised learning, classification tasks, and evaluation techniques.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, BigQuery, Azure Cloud, Apache Spark, ML Flow, and Databricks is a plus.
