We are currently seeking an AI Speech Research Intern to join our AI Applications team! With Deep Learning, AI can be taught to perform nearly any task, and GPUs serve as the most effective platform for AI and deep learning. Our work begins with the most advanced GPUs as well as the systems and software we develop on top of them, such as speech recognition and language translation. Do you thrive on the challenge of training deep learning models? Are you excited about identifying and optimizing the latest AI algorithms to help us expand into new and more prevalent verticals? What you'll be doing:

  • Developing and prototyping new deep learning models and training algorithms for speech recognition, speaker diarization, speech enhancement, and speech augmented LLMs, and speech translation.

What we need to see:

  • Pursuit of a Master's, Ph.D., or equivalent degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering

  • Strong knowledge in Deep Learning for ASR, speaker diarization, speech enhancement, and speech translation

  • Excellent Python programming skills

  • Experience with

  • Ability to work independently

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Familiarity with Transformer/Conformer architecture based models or diffusion models

  • Familiarity with Large Language Models like GPT, Llama

  • Data augmentation techniques for speech and audio

  • Synthetic data generation techniques for speech

  • C++ or CUDA programming experience
