Key Responsibilities

• Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting, employing innovative approaches to solving technical problems.
• Create secure and high-quality production code, maintaining algorithms for synchronization with appropriate systems.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring that design constraints are met by software code development.
• Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets to continuously improve software applications and systems.
• Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture.
• Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events exploring new and emerging technologies.
• Foster a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
• Participate in regular standups and code reviews.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with applied experience in SQL, ETL - Informatica, and PL/SQL programming.
• Working knowledge of big data technologies and concepts.
• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficiency in Shell scripting.
• Experience resolving data processing performance issues through improvements.
• Experience with projects involving large data volumes and batch processing.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages.
• Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
• Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, Security, Jules, Jenkins, Git/Stash.
• Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within disciplines such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and mobile development.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Experience with Databricks, Cloudera, Hadoop, Spark, HDFS, HBase, Hive, Python Programming, AWS technologies, Terraform, or Airflow.
