Key Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer at Amazon Pharmacy, you will handle a variety of core responsibilities:

• Design and develop cutting-edge data infrastructures that enhance our analytical capabilities and support our expansive growth.
• Create scalable and efficient data solutions for both real-time and batch processing, essential for delivering impactful business intelligence insights.
• Collaborate closely with an array of experts including Business Intelligence Engineers, Software Development Engineers, and Product Managers to craft and refine data-driven solutions.
• Drive innovation by recommending new analytics techniques and strategies that improve our campaign targeting and overall data utilization.
• Enhance product offerings and uncover new business opportunities through robust data analysis and machine learning applications.
• Lead analytics for one or more product areas, managing the end-to-end project lifecycle and stakeholder engagements effectively.

• Delivering comprehensive data warehousing solutions that alleviate complex data challenges.

• Identifying and standardizing common analytical patterns to streamline operations and insights generation using AWS solutions.
• Maintaining a clear focus on key performance indicators to drive product and process enhancements across various departments.

Job Locations

This position is available in the following locations: Boston, MA, USA | Seattle, WA, USA.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Proven experience in developing metrics and reporting solutions.
• Advanced skills in scripting for automation (e.g., Python) and SQL.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau or Quicksight.
• Familiarity with AWS data technologies such as Redshift and S3.
• A bachelor’s degree in a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
