Role Overview: Senior Business Intelligence Engineer, Kuiper Commercial Revenue Operations

As a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer, you will spearhead the creation and execution of business intelligence strategies that enhance our commercial revenue operations. With a hands-on approach, you will lead the development of sophisticated BI solutions, manage data analysis projects, and oversee the design and implementation of ETL pipelines, data models, and visualization tools. This role is pivotal in transforming data into actionable insights that drive business strategy and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and maintenance of BI dashboards and reports to monitor our commercial performance.
• Liaise with diverse teams—spanning business development to engineering—to distill complex data requirements into clear, actionable insights.
• Identify and implement improvements for data quality, performance, and functionality of BI systems and tools.
• Employ advanced analytics to derive insights from large, complex datasets.
• Help define BI vision and strategy within the Commercial Revenue Operations team.
• Act as a critical bridge between technical teams and business units, providing key insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

Basic Qualifications:

• Over 6 years of professional or military experience.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in SQL.
• Proven ability in scripting languages such as Python for data extraction, transformation, and cleansing.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau or Quicksight.
• Deep understanding of experimental design, statistical analysis, information retrieval, data mining, and machine learning.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Direct experience in liaising with business stakeholders to address data-related business needs.
• Strong leadership capabilities with experience in delivering presentations to senior management.
• Familiarity with AWS technological stack including AWS Console, AWS Glue, and AWS CLI.
