About Your Future Team

Our team is passionate, engaged, and proactive – supporting the very foundation of AWS by delivering top-tier solutions to build and maintain our data center supply chains. As a member of the Supply Chain Analytics team, you will collaborate with Global Stakeholders, Data Engineers, and Business Analysts to enhance our business analytics solutions. This role is for those who find passion in problem-solving and wish to take on the fast-paced challenges of the supply chain in a rapidly growing environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer, you will:

  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of Amazon's diverse data resources and intricate processes.
  • Work collaboratively across time zones to conceptualize and execute analytical models, ensuring all business requirements are met through critical data examination.
  • Employ your technical proficiency in feature engineering, exploratory data analysis, and time-series forecasting to develop models that effectively address business needs.
  • Perform in-depth analyses to draw meaningful conclusions and drive decision making through well-crafted, data-driven insights.
  • Develop, design, and maintain scalable analytical tools and dashboards, guiding key supply chain and procurement decisions.
  • Simultaneously manage multiple projects, accommodating shifting priorities and tight deadlines in a vibrant environment.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Over 10 years of hands-on experience in analytics, demonstrating a strong quantitative ability, complemented by 3+ years in functions such as Supply Chain, Marketing, or Finance.
  • Expertise in business intelligence tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.), as well as proficiency in Python/R, SQL, and data warehousing solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, along with strong leadership abilities to guide cross-functional teams.

Preferred Expertise

We value additional experience such as:

  • Advanced degree (Master’s in Data Science, Operations, Statistics, or MBA from premiere institutions).
  • Deep familiarity with AWS tools like Redshift, S3, and Athena and advanced statistical computing.
  • Leadership experience with a proven record of steering project delivery and strategic decision-making.
