Your Impact

As a pivotal member of our team, your mission will involve close partnership with product managers, business stakeholders, data engineers, and software engineers. Your expertise in generating actionable metrics will guide pivotal business decisions. This role transcends mere report generation; you are expected to drive automation and refine our analytics to serve the diverse needs of our stakeholders effectively.

Essential Responsibilities

You will be responsible for designing and maintaining automated, intuitive systems, reports, and dashboards that enable stakeholders to make informed decisions effortlessly. Your role includes:

  • Partnering with Product Managers to comprehend business requirements and craft supportive analytical solutions.
  • Performing ad hoc data analyses and ensuring data integrity.
  • Implementing training programs to maximize the utility of our analytics tools for stakeholders.
  • Developing analytical frameworks to provide timely, adaptable, and structured data access to our customers.
  • Creating essential business and operational reports with periodic reviews.
  • Extracting insights from complex data sets to identify trends that aid strategic decisions, including presenting results and recommendations effectively.
  • Collaborating with software teams to develop systems that support extensive data analysis and the deployment of machine learning models.
  • Understanding and utilizing Amazon’s vast data resources efficiently.

Preferred Location

Candidates are welcome to join us in Seattle, WA, or may have the option to work remotely depending on the project requirements.

What We Require

Our ideal candidate should have:

  • Over 10 years of professional or military experience with a background in SQL and data programming.
  • Proficiency in AWS technologies and scripting languages like Python for advanced data manipulation.
  • A solid grasp on data science, machine learning, and statistical analysis concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience engaging directly with business stakeholders, and the aptitude to translate data insights into business solutions. A history of managing complex analyses and communicating outcomes to senior leaders will be advantageous.
