Join Our Team as a Sr. Data Analytics & Insights Manager at Samsung Electronics
We are currently seeking a Senior Data Analytics & Insights Manager to join our North American Service Business (NASB) team. This role is central to enhancing our decision-making capabilities through advanced analytics, insights, and automation.
Position Summary
The ideal candidate will:
- Analyze both external and internal business environments and current business statuses to identify critical issues strategically.
- Develop action plans to boost competitiveness by evaluating internal competencies and processes.
- Communicate strategic vision globally and implement high-priority tasks to assist top management.
Role and Responsibilities
As part of the Data Analytics & Insights Team (DAI) in NASB, you will empower multiple internal groups by providing essential analytics support. Your focus will include but not be limited to:
- Supporting Samsung Ads Sales and NASB leadership with advanced forecasting methods, automation, and enhanced reporting capabilities.
- Working across various facets of the NASB business, offering a unique opportunity to learn from a broader analytics community within the organization.
- Driving significant improvements in data access both internally and externally.
- Creating automation and streamlining processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Advancing our forecasting techniques to improve accuracy and timelines.
- Designing compelling and straightforward data visualizations.
- Leading projects to enlarge our data infrastructure and tools.
Required Qualifications and Skills
The successful candidate will have:
- A Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience in ad-tech, preferably in ad sales.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage ambiguities and complex problem-solving.
- A high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, SQL, and Python/Pandas for data analytics, ETL, and automation.
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, Domo or similar.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Project management experience and a passion for technology and new media trends.
