Role Overview

As a Sr. Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role within our Business Intelligence department, reporting directly to the Manager of Development. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Leading the design, development, and optimization of complex ETL workflows and data pipelines using SQL Server and stored procedures.
• Utilizing technical skills to architect and implement data solutions on Azure, including Azure Data Lake services.
• Applying dimension modeling principles to craft insightful data models designed for advanced analytics and reporting.
• Collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand and fulfill data needs through innovative technical solutions.
• Mentoring junior data engineers, promoting professional growth and technical excellence within the team.
• Integrating DevOps practices to enhance CI/CD pipelines and streamline data engineering operations.
• Ensuring data integrity and quality through robust data integration, transformation, and cleansing techniques.

What It Takes to Succeed

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems Science, supplemented by extensive experience (minimum seven years) in data warehouse analysis and design.
• Adeptness in SQL Server, ETL development, Python, and preferably some exposure to Azure Data Factory and Oracle databases.
• Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills, capable of adapting swiftly to changing priorities.
