As a Sr Data Science Consultant, you will be pivotal in advising and providing analytical services that enhance the functionality and performance of our software solutions, ensuring our customers achieve outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will include:

• Leading analytical services within a team to conduct proofs-of-concept and pinpoint opportunities that add significant customer value.
• Performing data analysis to discover patterns, trends, and anomalies, translating these findings into actionable insights.
• Communicating complex data stories clearly to demonstrate the value of solutions and assist customers in prioritizing their needs.
• Helping to define project success metrics and guiding customers through the process.
• Working collaboratively with Blue Yonder team members to understand domain-specific issues and customer requirements, translating these into model adjustments and enhancements.
• Creating, configuring, and training models to align with the overall project objectives.
• Conducting simulations and what-if analyses to explore alternative scenarios and support the successful solution delivery.

Travel Requirements

The role involves up to 10% travel to customer and team locations as required.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A graduate degree in Operations Research, Statistics, or a related quantitative field, with advanced knowledge in machine learning highly preferred.
• Proficiency in script programming languages, especially Python, geared towards data analytics and machine learning.
• Exceptional ability to extract and communicate insights from complex data sets to stakeholders with varying levels of analytical understanding.
• Familiarity with business processes in retail, pricing, and supply chain management.
• Skills in creating effective dashboards, visualizations, and reports for conveying statistical findings.
• PhD and additional European language skills are advantageous.
