Job Summary

As a Sr Developer specializing in Big Data / Databricks, you will be at the forefront of developing, integrating, testing, and maintaining new and existing applications. Your expertise in programming languages, development methodologies, and delivery models will play a critical role in steering progressive IT solutions. This role requires strong experience in Big Data environments, including proficiency with Hadoop and Spark.

Required Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years in Information Technology, OR Technical Certification with 6+ years in Information Technology, OR 8+ years in Information Technology experience.
• Ability to perform computer entry for entire work shifts as needed.
• Excellent workload management skills, and ability to handle multiple priorities and conflicts.
• Proficiency in traditional application languages (COBOL, Perl, C++).
• Skill in scripting languages (BASH, PERL, PYTHON, RUBY).
• Experience in application/product feature design and integration technologies (Tibco, Informatica, CAS).
• Knowledge in mobile technologies (HP Anywhere, iOS, Android, Java, HTML5).
• Understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA), web technologies, and cloud computing technologies (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS).
• Familiarity with application configuration, rapid prototyping, and SDLC Methodology (Agile, Scrum, Iterative Development).
• Expertise in system performance management, systems change/configuration management, business requirements management, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
