Role Overview: Sr. Director, Business Intelligence

This pivotal role enables you to craft the BI function at Mediavine. Your mission will be to build a team, shape strategy, and create a roadmap aiming to transition Mediavine into a data-driven powerhouse. Working alongside our Chief Legal & Operations Officer, you'll merge data exploration with strategic foresight to influence significant business decisions and foster data-centric organizational culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lay the foundations for and spearhead the BI department, focusing on strategic alignment with corporate goals.
• Drive data analysis, ensuring insightful, actionable business intelligence is delivered efficiently.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align BI initiatives with broader business strategies.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing BI team dedicated to advancing data accessibility and utility across the company.
• Establish and manage effective data governance and integrity across all BI endeavors.

Who You Are:

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, IT, or a related field; a Master’s degree in Data Science or Analytics is a plus.
• Bring over 10 years of progressive experience in Business Intelligence or Data Science, preferably within ad tech.
• Showcase strong leadership skills with at least 5 years in management roles.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of BI concepts and tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Effective communicator with excellent analytical skills, capable of transforming complex data sets into strategic action plans.
• Enjoy a dynamic work setting and are proficient with modern tools like Google Suite and Slack.
