Role Overview: Sr. Director, Technical Program Manager - Generative AI Systems

Capital One is seeking a visionary Sr. Director, Technical Program Manager to lead groundbreaking programs that leverage Generative AI to transform the financial industry. Your role will focus on orchestrating product, technology, and business strategies to construct advanced products and platforms. This position requires robust technical expertise, especially in system architecture, alongside a talent for synchronizing cross-organizational efforts.

What You Will Do:

- Drive the strategic and technical roadmaps for Generative AI-driven platforms.

- Build and lead a top-tier team of engineers and program managers to deliver next-gen technological solutions.

- Act as a key technology advisor to senior management, influencing decisions and company-wide projects with impactful insights.

- Enhance cross-functional collaboration, ensuring execution and accountability across diverse business units.

- Simplify complex technical details to facilitate clear and decisive action across various stakeholders.

Who You Are:

- A seasoned leader with at least 9 years in technical program management and proven ability to oversee vast, intricate programs.

- Experienced in designing and deploying highly scalable solutions using modern distributed systems and cloud architectures.

- Adept at leading agile teams and initiatives, with a deep understanding of Agile methodologies.

- Highly skilled in navigating and performing in regulated environments, ensuring compliance and excellence.

- Educated with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields. Advanced degrees like an MBA or Master's are preferred.

- San Francisco, California (Hybrid On-Site): $288,800 - $329,600
