About the Role

As a Sr. Frontend Engineer at CrowdStrike, you will work with a talented and dedicated team to build and maintain the user interface for the GenAI Hub. Your role includes providing a high-quality user experience that enables our internal customers to leverage Generative AI to protect our clients from the most sophisticated adversaries.

About the Team

At CrowdStrike, we have pioneered the use of artificial intelligence (AI) since we first introduced AI-powered protection over 10 years ago. We have since deeply integrated AI across our platform.

You will be part of our newly formed GenAI Platform team, with the mission of enabling large-scale production usage of Generative AI across the company. You'll work to build a robust and intuitive platform used by data scientists, engineers, product managers, and others to solve exciting challenges in Large Language Models.

One of the major customers for this platform is Charlotte AI, a first-of-its-kind offering empowering users of all skill levels to leverage data from the Falcon Platform, while reducing security operations complexity and cost.

What You’ll Do

• Build single-page applications using React or equivalent modern frameworks.
• Leverage your technical expertise to guide engineering, product direction, and design decisions.
• Take initiative and build tools that improve the development experience of your team.
• Write automated tests for your code.
• Collaborate with UX Engineers, Cloud Engineers, UX Designers, QA Engineers, Product Managers, Data Scientists, and others.
• Continually learn about the evolving challenges and complexities of the cybersecurity industry.
• Have fun solving hard problems.

What You’ll Need

• Strong understanding of JavaScript and experience building web application user interfaces with modern frameworks like Ember, React, Angular, or Vue.
• Proficient in HTML & CSS, including experience with CSS pre- or post-processors (like Sass or PostCSS) and CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS.
• Experience with testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies such as QUnit or Mocha.
• Knowledge and interest in developing truly accessible interfaces.
• Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems and workflows.
• Capacity to work closely with others to deliver quality software and solve problems.

Bonus Points

• Familiarity with client-side build processes and tools (e.g., Ember CLI, Webpack, etc.).
• Experience in the GenAI/LLM space.
• Experience creating or contributing to open-source projects.
• Experience with graphics and visualization tools such as D3 or Three.js.
• Experience with UI performance measurement and optimization.
• Experience with web accessibility testing and support.
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services.
• Prior experience in cybersecurity.
