Key Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years' experience with a broad range of Robotics Algorithms covering Perception, Control, and Planning
• Expertise in motor control techniques including MPC, Optimal, and adaptive controls
• Profound knowledge of Perception in Robotics contexts
• Practical experience in coding algorithms in C/C++ and Python, considering computational constraints
• Experience in training Machine Learning Models
• Proven ability to handle real-world deployment issues in Robotics
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
• Exceptional problem-solving and intuitive debugging skills
• Dedicated and inquisitive nature, driven by a desire to solve real-world problems innovatively

Role Description:

As a Senior Robotics Software Engineer, you will lead the development of cutting-edge robotics algorithm software from prototype through to deployment. This role allows you to significantly influence the progression of current Robotics technologies, elevating algorithms from initial concept to reliable, market-ready software solutions.

Education & Experience:

A Master’s or PhD Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience is required.

Additional Requirements:

• Expertise with industry-standard tools such as Python, ROS, Keras, Turi, Tensorflow
• Prior commercial deployment experience in Robotics software

Our total compensation package at Apple includes base pay (ranging from $138,900 to $256,500, based on skill, qualifications, and location), participation in discretionary employee stock programs, and other benefits including:
