Opportunity for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer

We are searching for a motivated Senior Machine Learning Engineer to play a pivotal role in optimizing the integration and deployment of our AI-driven chat and search services. This role focuses on the enhancement of our API-based model serving, integrating large language models (LLMs), and robust CI/CD pipelines within a workman’s compensation data ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the deployment and scaling of AI models for chat and search applications.
• Optimize our continuous integration and delivery processes (CI/CD), with a specific focus on the unique needs of AI and machine learning workflows.
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure to support efficient AI model training and improvement.
• Enforce best software development practices ensuring scalability and maintainability of AI solutions.
• Enhance data pipelines in collaboration with data scientists to optimize AI services functionality.
• Drive team innovation through mentorship and knowledge-sharing on deployment strategies and new technologies.
• Create comprehensive documentation to support system sustainability and knowledge continuity.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Strong foundations in software development with proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience in deploying LLMs in production environments, preferably within cloud platforms like Google Cloud.
• Expertise in implementing efficient CI/CD pipelines tailored for machine learning projects.
• A collaborative spirit capable of working effectively across multi-disciplinary teams.
• A deep passion for applying AI to solve complex data challenges in innovative ways.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with NLP techniques and tools like spaCy or Hugging Face Transformers.
• Prior experience in healthcare or insurance domains is advantageous.
