Your Career

Join us to solve network security challenges by leveraging advanced machine learning techniques on exabytes of data. As a Senior Manager, Engineering at Palo Alto Networks, you will create and deliver AI and Machine Learning enabled solutions to detect and remediate network issues, discover threats, provide intelligence, and protect devices.

Qualifications

• M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
• 10+ years of development experience in Public cloud, Data Engineering, and Analytics.
• 4+ years of direct people leadership experience.
• 8+ years of experience in design, algorithms, and data structures with expertise in Java, Python, or Golang.
• Proven leadership skills with an ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management and Design, with an emphasis on end-to-end delivery.
• Experience in developing services in the cloud/Kubernetes, building data pipelines and analytics pipelines using dataflow/pubsub/GKE, RESTful interfaces, and Build Management tools.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum Process) and Big Data technologies like Hive, Kafka, Hadoop, SQL, developing APIs, Cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, and Azure.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
• A self-driven individual contributor and an excellent team player.
